Six students from the
Newman Center at UW Oshkosh came to the Monastery in late March for a monastic immersion and service alternative Spring break. The even managed to make it through the Great Canon on Monday evening!
They also had an opportunity for a long discussion on issues of social justice and Catholic social teaching with Catherine Orr, Diocese of Green Bay Director of the Department of Living Justice.
They were able to do some very useful service work both at the monastery and to help out our neighbors at the St. Nazianz Christian Center and thrift store.
